When the first Flip video camera launched in the US earlier this year, it proved a revelation, giving even those on a tight budget the chance to buy a pocket-sized, decent quality camcorder for recording footage wherever the mood took them.
The Mino is the next-generation Flip: it's 40 per cent smaller than the original Flip Ultra, with a sleeker design, backlit touch-sensitive buttons, and a ridiculously simple user interface.
One of the Flip's major selling points is the fact its an 'integrated' gadget: the USB stick to transfer your video clips onto a computer is built into the Mino, and flips out at the touch of a button (hence the name).
Each Mino is pre-installed with editing software that automatically boots up as soon as you plug the device into a computer, importing all your footage and providing a quick and easy way of editing and splicing together everything you've filmed.
The 2GB device can store up to an hour of footage, and has a built-in battery that can be recharged via mains electricity or USB.
