Security Council concept paper

The President of the Security Council for the month of September, Burkina Faso, has issued a concept paper for the Security Council High-level meeting on "Mediation and settlement of disputes" to be held in New York on 23 September (S/2008/590). With the overall objective of helping to promote mediation as a method of dispute settlement, the high-level meeting aims to achieve a number specific objectives as outlined in the report.
