Italian trade volume in Nigeria hits €553 million

According to the Italian embassy in Nigeria, about €553 million (N99.54 billion) worth of goods and services were exported from Italy to the African country during 2007. This figure represents about a 3.33 percent increase over the €535 million (N96.30 billion) trade volume which was recorded in 2006, said Italy’s ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Massimo Baistrocchi.
