IAALD-AFITA-WCCA 2008 World Conference on Agricultural information and IT

CTA is sponsoring a session at the IAALD-AFITA-WCCA 2008 World Conference on Agricultural information and IT (24 – 27 August, Tokyo University of Agriculture), entitled “Only Connect? Emerging ICT options and opportunities for farmers”.

Organised in collaboration with Euforic and IFAD, the session brings a panel of resource persons from 8 ACP countries to discuss the rapidly changing ICT environment in ACP countries, with the appearance of increasingly affordable and widespread wireless connectivity, low cost hardware and free or low cost interactive web applications.
